  • 12 / 12 Released record under the DECCA label, marking the first among Korean orchestras(Mahler Symphony No. 5)
  • 05 / Musical cooperation with Riccardo Muti, The 1st Muti Opera Academy was held in Asia with Gyeonggi Philharmonic
  • 04 / Musical cooperation with Pinchas Zukerman as a conductor as well as an accompanist

  • 03 / Official name was changed from Gyeonggi Pops Orchestra to Gyeonggi Provincial Orchestra
  • / Number of musicians were increased from 70 to 90(two separate groups were merged with 83 orchestra members and seven pops ensemble members)
